The Ecotech-Energy-50 Association together with the Ministry for Energy of the Russian Federation, Gosenergonadsor in the Baltic Region and the Baltic Sea Region Energy Cooperation, BASREC, has the great pleasure in inviting you to these events and to the Basrec Conference.

The aim of the Forum, Conference and the Exhibition is to promote energy and environmental investments in northwest Russia and to develop closer ties between business and government decision-makers and experts, together with representatives from civil society, scholars and moral authorities. In allowing the participants to share and compare views and discuss projects and initiatives regarding sustainable development.

The Forum will bring together about 30 speakers, including key decision makers from the field of energy and the environment from Russia and the Nordic countries, and about 200 delegates. The Forum will include:

• Plenary sessions and workshops on, sustainable energy development and project financing
• Opportunities to share ideas, experiences and initiatives during and in between meetings
• Cultural events.

Prices: Exhibition and Forum :

To cover the expenses, the organizers will charge a company exhibition fee Euro 2400 /company, a presentation fee of Euro 1000 / organization and individual participation fee of Euro 250 /person / organization. The participation fees do not include flights or accommodation.

The participants of the Exhibition, Forum and Conference can freely participate in all events and presentations of the Forum and Conference.

• Exhibition, FORUM and BASREC Conference - Tuesday 16.3.2004
• Reception of the City of St. Petersburg - Tuesday 16.3.2004
• Exhibition, FORUM and DENSY/Partnership day - Wednesday 17.3.2004, in parallel with the Basrec Conference
• BASREC Conference, 17 -18.3.2004
• Day for negotiations, visits and sight-seeing - Thursday 18.3.2004
• Departure day - Friday 19.3.2004

The Ecotech-Energy-50 Association is responsible for the programme of the forum. During the visit, the business delegation will have a seminar and meetings with other organizations. To help the members of the business delegation to gain the most of this visit, the organizer is prepared to organize individual meetings for the members with the local business leaders and authorities.
