An extreme situation in Eletsky settlement

In a thirty-degree frost inhabitants of Eletsky settlement stay without heating.

As the deputy chief of press-service of the Ministry of Emergency Measures of Komi republic Mr. Lobanov have told power transmission line near Eletsky settlement located 100 km from Vorkuta has been damaged because of the snowstorm. Local boiler house has been stopped because of it. Heat supply of a water tower has been stopped too. Electricity supply was stopped for three hours. At 16.00 it was renewed but in these three hours heating system has been completely frozen.
