Authorities of Karelia plan to get about 50 million rubles from privatization of state property in 2006.

Authorities of Karelia are going to privatize 8 state enterprises in 2006. It was declared by Minister for State Property and Natural Resources of the Republic Mr. Sergey Denisov, acting on January 23, at operative meeting in the local government.

As Mr. Denisov has informed, practically all state companies exposed on tenders are agriculture. There are state farms "Vedlozersky", "Tolvujsky" and "Agrarian", agricultural company "Vidlitsa", and some other among them. Besides that Karelian government plans to privatize Suojarvi regional printing house. It is supposed, that the total sum of income will make almost 50 million rubles. And by 2008 local authorities should expose on tenders all regional property, which has not been involved in carrying out of the state duties.
